Creating a covered area in a challenging space
Bespoke glazed veranda bridges a gap

Our customer had a requirement to create a functional covered area as they enter and exit their home via the bi fold doors and also for entering and leaving their hot tub cabin opposite.
The challenge with this installation was to design a veranda that straddled the hot tub cabin whilst being able to install the glass panels and glazing bars with a further challenge of a drainage channel where normally a support post would be positioned. After other companies failed to find a solution we were asked to look at the project, with some creative thinking we designed a veranda and the fitting method to safely install it.
This 3.4m x 2.9m textured black powder-coated veranda, incorporating clear 6mm toughened glass roof panels perfectly matches the property. By offsetting a support post we overcame the issue with the drainage channel. The powder-coated aluminium frame is available in an unlimited length and up to 3.5m wide with a 10 year warranty.
The glazed roof panels flood the rear of the property with natural light whilst creating the desired covered walkway and canopy for the hot tub cabin, proof indeed that with a little creativity we can turn challenges into reality.
