Out with the old and in with the new decking

Our customer reached out after years of dealing with low-quality composite decking that had started to fade, crack, and go brittle. Many people don’t realise there is a big difference in composite decking quality. Cheaper “uncapped” boards are simply extrusions of plastic and wood, which deteriorate quickly over time.

We surveyed the garden and discussed a more reliable solution. Our recommendation was Trex decking boards, which feature a UV-resistant capped surface and a durable, forgiving core. These boards stay looking fresh for years and come with a 25-year warranty, giving our customer both style and peace of mind.

Working together, we designed a striking pattern using two contrasting shades from the Trex Naturals range. The boards emulate the warmth and texture of timber while providing low maintenance.
