Making that family space with an extended veranda

The client

A couple who live in Awre in Gloucestershire.

The challenges

Due to the fact the veranda did not stop at the edge of the house, we had to design a bespoke ‘goal post’ frame to provide the overall structure with adequate support.

Our solution

Within the space of just three days, we installed a 4.6m x 2.2m veranda that had been specifically designed to cover the entire patio, which included the bespoke ‘goal post’ frame.

This particular installation incorporated an aluminium anthracite grey frame with clear 6mm toughened glass panels. We also installed a slatted composite fence along the back of the house, making the veranda area 100% private.

The end result 

We fully listened to our customer’s requirements and turned their unique vision into reality with ease. Our bespoke veranda solution has enabled them to effectively increase the amount of available floor space by putting their patio area to greater use.
