A covered family space come rain or shine

Our customer wanted us to install an awning that would enable them to use their patio from spring through to late autumn. However, in order to fit the awning we had to overcome a problem - there was a soil pipe located exactly where our customer wanted the awning to go.

We overcame the issue by designing box section aluminium bracket spacers that brought the awning out from the pipe using a metal framework. We then clad the area, creating a seamless interface with the house and fully encasing the soil pipe. We then fitted a 3.5m x 3m electronically-operated retractable awning with an anthracite grey cassette.
